13.3.2 INTERFACE PIN-OUT WITH JUMPERS J12, J13, 14 AND J15 IN ‘DIRECT’
CONFIGURATION
The Start / Stop key is physically linked to two interface pins, so that while the key is pressed, a shortcircuit will appear
between pin 1 and pin 2. The Start / Stop LED (located close the key) can be driven from the interface (i.e. it can be
controlled by connected equipment - external tally). The Start / Stop LED is physically linked to interface pin 6 and pin 7.

Remote start and stop operates with line input 2 ( D-Type Input ).
Remote start and stop operates with line input 1 ( XLR input ).
Jumper J3 selects which input is connected to the piece of equipment that needs to be controlled
remotely. With J3 set over pins 1 and 2, the remotes will only operate. With
J3 set over pins 2 and 3, the remotes.
If J3 is not set, the remote start and stop will operate whether Input 1 or Input 2 are
selected.
13.3.3 External PFL switch
When pin 3 is pulled high (i.e. fed with + 6 V) the channel will switch the PFL on.
With the external PFL it is possible to switch the channel to PFL automatically when the PLAY-button of the connected
device is pressed. The device can be started with the start-output when the module is activated.
